Acoustical Engineer
This position requires the application of physics, engineering, and mathematics to the design, testing, and development of acoustical plans and specifications in architectural acoustics, sound isolation, & mechanical noise and vibration control.
The prospective employee will possess all the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, architecture, or physics
- Basic operational knowledge of EASE (Aura), CATT, or Odeon modeling software
- Basic AutoCad proficiency
- Communicate effectively with clients and other design team members
- Commensurate engineering experience will be accepted
The successful candidate will interact with clients, manage projects from schematic design through completion, make acoustical measurements, prepare test reports, and assist with marketing
Audio/Video Designer
The prospective employee will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Applicant should have at least three years of experience as an A/V Designer in a contracting design/build or consultant design environment. Strong emphasis on Sound System design
- Responsibilities include design of systems to program, preparation of power requirement and configuration, system design drawings (device locations on floor plans, functional diagrams, plate and cluster details, etc.). and specifications
- Experience with EASE modeling highly desirable and modest AutoCad skills is required
- Exhibit a passion for A/V systems and customer service
- Communicate effectively with clients and other design team members
These opening are for our Indianapolis location, but we will entertain other locations for the right individual(s).
